The purpose of Our Shared Journey is to celebrate Lao culture and to raise funding to support many of our important and on-going programs, mainly the Between Two Worlds: Untold Stories of Refugees from Laos. The project consists of a traveling museum exhibit, which includes personal interviews of refugees of different ethnic groups (e.g., Lowland Lao, Hmong, Mien, Khmu, Tai Lue, etc.), artifacts, background information, and the development of Lao American history curriculum that will be distributed to educators. The exhibit is expected to travel to five major Californian cities: Redding, Sacramento, SF Bay Area and Fresno.
CLS other programs include:
* Summer Study Abroad in Laos (SAIL)
